Dr Sandy Barker is a lecturer in Management with the University of South Australia’s School of Business. Her primary area of research is in the management of end-user computing and end-user development of small-scale information systems together with resource management and organisational learning. In education Sandy has a particular interest in experiential learning with a focus on work placements and role play.

Dr Cassandra Colvin is Manager of the ESAP program at UNISA, an academic intervention program targeting first-year students who have been identified as ‘at-risk’. Cassandra has presented widely on themes relating to international student support and was recently awarded her PhD by Murdoch University on intercultural interaction on university campuses.

Dr. Shane Dawson is the Director of the Teaching Innovation Unit and Professor of Learning Analytics at the University of South Australia. Shane’s research focuses on the use of social network analysis and learner ICT interaction data to inform and benchmark teaching and learning quality. Shane is a founding executive member of the Society for Learning Analytics Research. He is a co-developer of numerous open source software including the Online Video Annotations for Learning (OVAL) and SNAPP a social network visualization tool.

Dr. Abelardo Pardo is Associate Head of Teaching and Learning and Senior Lecturer at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, The University of Sydney. He has a PhD in Computer Science by the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is the director of the Learning and Affect Technologies Engineering (LATTE) laboratory specialized in educational technology. His areas of research are learning analytics, software for collaborative and personalized learning, and technology to improve the student experience and teaching practice. He is also research fellow at the LINK Research Lab (The University of Texas at Arlington), manager of the Engineering and Technology Program at the STEM Teacher Enrichment Academy (The University of Sydney), and member of the executive board of the Society for Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR).

Dr Tim Rogers is the Academic Developer: Learning and Teaching Strategies with the University of South Australia’s Teaching Innovation Unit. He has an interest in organisational learning and systems theories, particularly in relation to making data/evidence based changes that improve the learning and teaching environment.
